Today we are going to take a look at the year’s most anticipated new entertainment offerings and when exactly you can expect them to hit your screen. Without further ado, let’s see which movies to watch and which TV shows you should be looking out for.

Pirates of the Caribbean

It has been over 4 years since the fourth installment of Disney’s swashbuckling pirate adventure franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean and this year will see the eagerly awaited 5th film. Johnny Depp returns in his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Dead Men Tell No Tales going up against Javier Bardem who plays the man going after Sparrow. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley also return to the fold as William Turner and Elizabeth Swan after both were notable absentees in the the 4th installment. The film is released on May 26th and early indication show that it will be another box office smash hit.

House of Cards: Season 5

Netflix’s own House of Cards is one of the most eagerly awaited TV shows of the year and on May 30th, Kevin Spacey and Robin  Wright will return to our screens as President and First Lady Underwood. If the trailer is anything to go by, season 5 looks set to feature all of the underhand moves, backstabbing, scheming, plotting and shocks that we have become accustomed to throughout the first 4 seasons of the show. In a recent interview, Wright suggested that Donald Trump has “stolen all of our ideas” which should give you an indication of exactly what to expect in the next season of this entertaining political drama.

Game of Thrones: Season 7

The Game of Thrones series has been smashing TV show records ever since its inception and it is a show which has more twists and turns than anyone could prepare themselves for. Season 7 hits screens on July 16th and looks set to be an absolute smash as we watch the rival factions and families seek to earn the right to sit on the iron throne. Expect love, murder, war and treachery in the next season of this exciting medieval fantasy.

Transformers The Last Knight

The upcoming Transformers movie looks set to be one of the darkest of the franchise yet with humans and machines at war with one another and no Optimus Prime to save them. An unlikely alliance is all that can save the world and the key to human’s survival lies in a dark, historic secret. Mark Wahlberg returns as Cade Yeager and so too does Anthony Hopkins in his role as Professor Oxford. Fans of all ages will be highly excited to see the new Transformers movie which hits screens on the 21st of June.

Ensure your skin is prepared and ready for all the layers of makeup. Regardless of the quality of your foundation and brushes, foundation and concealer can easily cake up and look unnatural if your skin is not clean and moisturized beforehand. Gently cleanse your face, take off all the excess makeup and use a light, water-based moisturizing cream 10-15 minutes before applying primer and foundation, this way, you will leave enough time for your skin to absorb the hydrating cream and get ready.

  1. Prime & Moisturize

After your regular skincare regiment, continue prepping with a correctional primer. What To Look For When Deciding To Change Your Work Boots

I have loved playing video games for as long as I can remember and I have been a fanboy for the Atari, the MegaDrive and the Playstation throughout the years. I now do most of my gaming online, at least when I get a minute away from the kids, and here are some ways that you can do it too.

Linking Up Consoles

I have been both an xBox and a Playstation fan throughout the years and both offer a brilliant online portal where you can connect with other players across the World. This adds an awesome element of gaming and it means that you can do as I did and play with your buddies even when you aren’t together or playing with someone in an entirely different country and timezone. Almost every game under the sun for modern consoles has the ability to be played across the internet so regardless of whether you love sports games or strategy games, there is a chance for you to connect online.

Retro Gaming

There are fantastic websites which you can use to play all of the old, retro classics that we all fell in love with. The games are exactly the same as they were back then and are played through something called an emulator. The cost of retro consoles such as the MegaDrive and the SNES have gone crazy in recent years as retro has become ‘cool’. To avoid paying crazy prices for old consoles or games simply get online and enjoy some of those old games like Earthworm Jim, Shinobi, Duck Hunt or Super Mario.

Community Gaming

Personally I do not have the time to dedicate to it but many of my friends play for hours and hours on community-based online games such as World of Warcraft. Whilst I don’t play these games, I would if I had the chance as I love the idea of a huge gaming community coming together to enjoy themselves.
